Medical microneedling is used to renew and improve the skin using sterile and clean needles. 1600 microchannels (wounds) are created in the skin per second, which stimulates the skin's own wound healing. The needle depth can be manually adjusted to the needs of the skin. By creating the microchannels, the overall skin condition is improved, but specific indications can also be treated. The SkinPen treatment is designed to renew the skin in depth, without causing unnecessary damage to the surface. The correct type of collagen (type 3) is produced with the 14 sterile and clean needles that maintain hardness and sharpness throughout the treatment (and longer: 80 minutes consecutively). This is the type of collagen needed to produce and organize effective tissue structures at the right pace. This type of collagen is then converted to type 1 collagen, resulting in the desired and long-lasting result without (subcutaneous) scars. This is a must for the production of healthy, new skin: only with clean needles is embryonic wound healing initiated and the desired results are achieved in a few treatments, without side effects.

What does the skin pen do for your skin?
The SkinPen creates small micro channels in the skin using very small, sterile needles that vibrate onto the skin. This activates the natural recovery process deep in the skin, causing new collagen (type 3) and elastin to be produced. Type 3 collagen is necessary to produce and organize effective tissue structures in the skin at the right pace. This type of collagen is then converted to type 1 collagen, resulting in the desired and long-lasting result without (subcutaneous) scars.
